You can also try playing with the Labouchere system. It is also known as the Split martingale system or the Cancellation system. Others call it the negative progression system. As with the Martingale system, it is a system that is primarily used for roulette. The system is named after the English financier Henry Labouchere and below you will get a short introduction to it.
When you play with this system, you keep playing until you have achieved a certain amount of winnings. It does not require you to win back your losses on a successful bet. Here, instead, the focus is on making up for any losses with several different bets. Therefore, there are arguments that the Labouchere system is possibly more complicated than the Martingale system and probably much more complicated than the Henze system.
While other systems start from the bet, or the starting amount, you focus on the total gain with the Labouchere system. First, you must determine how much you are after, which could be, for example, DKK 1,500. After that, you must divide it into somewhere between seven and ten smaller amounts.
For example, if you have set a goal of DKK 1,500, you can perhaps divide it into nine chunks with the following composition: DKK 150 – DKK 100 – DKK 250 – DKK 125 – DKK 120 – DKK 300 – DKK 125 – DKK 130 – DKK 200
This gives a total of DKK 1500 and it gives you the target as well as the smaller amounts. After that, it’s time to play. With this system, it is stipulated that you must play at minimum odds of 2.00. This ensures that you can potentially win your original bet twice again.
Your first bet will be your first amount at the top of the list and the amount at the bottom of the list. In this hypothetical scenario, it is DKK 150 added to DKK 200. That is, it is DKK 350. In the next scenario, you lose number two on the list and add it to the second last amount on the list and bet on it. This is how you continue until you have won the goal that you set yourself to start with. In this case, the target was DKK 1,500, but of course you choose entirely yourself.
It is important to mention that if you lose a bet, you must place the lost bet to the right of your sequence. After that, there are different scenarios depending on whether you win or lose.
